Your afternoon begins in Hobart, where you will see highlights of the city on your way to the picturesque village of Richmond. Hobart highlights will include the heritage listed Salamanca Place and Battery Hill, and Hobart’s birthplace, Sullivan’s Cove. See the Parliament House, Hobart’s original sandstone railway station; ABC Buildings, and plenty more iconic sights.
Once you reach the town of Richmond you will cross over the oldest road bridge in the whole of Australia, the Richmond Bridge. Visit the Richmond Gaol, which was operational from 1826, and explore the numerous convict built homes, small cottages, galleries, restaurants and classic Georgian mansions.
