When you depart Hobart you will enjoy some of the city’s highlights such as Salamanca Place, and see impressive views of the city, the Derwent River and Wrest Point Casino. Enjoy the relaxing and picturesque scenery as you travel through the Huon and Derwent Valleys, filled with lush sweeping valley and hills and tended fields.
You will go through the country town of Huonville and Geeveston, and see Franklin on the Huon River, a town renowed for its wooden boat building.
Once you reach the Tahune Forest Airwalk, you will get a chance to walk among the tree tops with the giants of the forest, from an elevated walkway. Take in the breathtaking views of the Huon River, and travel alongside it whilst walking under tall tree fern canopies. Experience the forest from a birds-eye view!
There is also an opportunity to visit Peppermint Bay for afternoon tea. The Bay is an amazing and pristine waterway, a perfect haven to unwind after an adventure filled day.
