Departing Darwin you will pass by some of the sights including, Francis Bay on Darwin Harbour, Berrimah Naval Defence base as well as pass through Palmerston on Darwin’s outskirts.
As you travel east on the Arnhem Highway, look out for the massive roadtrains before crossing the Marrakai Wetlands and the Adelaide River. Enjoy a Yellow Waters Cruise along the Billabong, home to native birdlife and crocodiles you will make your way to Kakadu National Park.
See some ancient Aboriginal rock art on a short guided walk to Nourlangie Rock as well as a visit to Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you will learn of the traditional ways of the Aboriginal people in Kakadu.
During the day be on the look out for crocodiles, birdlife and termite mounds all while taking in the serenity and natural beauty on offer in the Kakadu Wetlands.
