Tour Intensity
The first stop after leaving Byron Bay is the town of Nimbin, located on the edge of Nightcap National Park and over-looked by the Nimbin Rock, the town is now famous for its laid back alternative lifestyle. You will have time to explore the shops and taste some of the local cuisine in the cafes.
Leaving Nimbin you will travel through some of Australia’s beautiful lush rainforests, visit waterfalls with breathtaking views and see the local wildlife on show. It is during this time that you will stop off for a swim in a secret swimming hole to refresh and revitalize yourself (not included during Winter).
You will also visit a unique historical Aussie Pub; here you can have a nice cool beer, chat with the locals and get to know others on the tour. The Grasshoppers team will cook up a fantastic Aussie BBQ lunch for your enjoyment in a lush rainforest setting with all of the fresh local produce purchased along the way.
