Engross yourself with guided hikes through the sandstone domes of The Lost City, the Garden of Eden at Kings Canyon and the Valley of the Winds with this tour.

No visit to Uluru is complete without witnessing a spectacular sunset and this tour won’t disappoint. Not only will you enjoy dinner while witnessing the awesome sights of Uluru changing colours as the sun goes down but you’ll also wake up in the morning, witnessing Uluru’s breathtaking sunrise.

And, until December 2020, this tour includes an entry pass to the award winning Field of Light exhibition at Uluru. A global phenomenon, the field of light illuminates as far as the eye can see and lights up the desert.


Day one:

  • After being picked up from your Alice Springs accommodation, you’ll head to Kings Canyon for a three hour hike through the sandstone domes of the Lost City - visiting the Amphitheatre, North & South Walls and the Garden of Eden
  • The next stop will be Curtin Springs where you’ll set up camp, enjoy a healthy camp-oven dinner and relax around the fire, curling up in your cosy swag under a million stars

Day two:

  • Following breakfast, feel the spiritual significance of the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. Your Guide will show you some bush tucker along the hike before heading to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you can listen to tales from the Dreamtime
  • You’ll then go on a guided Mala Walk and spend the evening enjoying dinner at the spectacular Sunset over Uluru
  • As darkness falls, you’ll then go explore the Field of Light exhibition and immerse yourself in the 50,000 stems of coloured lights
  • After witnessing the awesome sight of Uluru changing colour as the sun sets, you’ll spend the night at the Ayers Rock Campground

Day three:

  • After being woken up by a memorable Uluru Sunrise over the world’s largest rock, you’ll take in the spiritual significance of Kantju Gorge, Mutitjulu Waterhole and Aboriginal Cave Paintings with a Uluru Base Walk
  • An optional camel ride will also be made available with a stop on your way home
  • Once arrived back in Alice Springs, you’ll have the chance to get cleaned up and meet your guide for dinner and a couple of beers at The Rock Bar


A camel ride is available at an additional cost on day three of the tour.


The tour departs from Alice Springs daily at approx. 5.30am, arriving back at Alice Springs on the final day at approx. 5.30pm.
